For everyone it's different, it's just what pushes them over the edge.
It can be a girlfriend making out with another guy or a boyfriend dumping you. It can be painful memories, or getting caught in a crime. someone they love dying or being hurt by someone else. Lots of things that people either feel they have no way out, no solution they can live with, no reason to go on, or it can sometimes be a cry for help. Unfortunately in the cries for help sometimes the help doesn't come when someone expects and they end up dying.
I can tell you when I was sure I was dying I changed my mind and didn't want to die anymore.

Hope this helps
Tink

A chemical imbalance could cause delusions and/or depression. Depression can be caused by real or perceived life situations. An addiction can be so serious that the person can feel that the only way to quit (and stop hurting those around them) is to die. I know a couple of these personally as I've been clean and sober for over 2 years now ans I've seen some of these manifested (and treated) in friends and family.

Sometines when something really emotionally painful happens people feel trapped and can feel in total dispair called 'hopelessness' and 'helplessness' sometimes people sadly see no other option. Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Id advice anyone who feels suicidal to seek support becuase its too late when there gone and its very sad.

There could be any number of reasons, and many of them could lead a person to think that suicide would be the only way out of a situation--but it's the absolute worst decision a person can make. I've been there before, and I'm only alive today by the grace of God.

Are you asking this because you are considering suicide or know someone who is or who has killed themselves? The first link below has numbers for crisis hotlines. Please use them if you need them or pass them along to anyone who may need them. If I can help in any way, please feel free to e-mail me at chad@jesusfreak.com.

people who commit suicide are usually lacking something important in their lives,,this could be in the form of love, happiness or simply company, they become lonely individuals who need help in the form of therapy. attempted suicides are usually outcries for help,,if not attented 2 they may result in a succesful suicide or mant other attempts at it. depression is also a major reason of suicide.

Yeah I would, but I know I'm too big a loser so I'll fail miserably anyway, so I don't bother.

Poeple kill themselves NOT because they want to end their life, but because they want to end the pain- and fail to find any other way.
