I hear when you have a seizure or convulsion or pass out or something to put the person face down or sitting down so they dont choke on their own tongue (I might have heard wrong), either way, people do choke on their tongues, how is this possible??? How does the tongue go back? What does it take to choke on your own tongue and does sleeping with your face towards the ceiling put you at any risk?

Hi,
I took some antibiotics for a week (penicillan)... two weeks ago. I am not using the pill to protect myself against getting pregnant.. just to regulate my periods.

Would this effect my bleeding pattern?? I'm not spotting or anything.. but i am due in like 9 days and i have been feeling like i am going to get them. You know the feeling you get when you're about to get periods.

Is this the result of me trying ECSTACY one time? When I took it my friends told me to put a pacifier in my mouth to chew on, as we bit down while on E...Every now and then I just have the urge to bite something...is this related from my ECSTACY experience?

Apparently doing a deep clean of a messy room today, i located a bunch of papers that were damp and seem to have been so for awhile, i threw them out but then noticed a stench i the area by where they had been (which was on a the plastic that lets the desk chair roll easier across the floor). Under the plastic is carpet, i think i spilled a small amount of water there awhile back and the papers soaked it up, i had thought they would dry right out but perhaps they didn't. The room may have stayed to cool or the air just never got down to them.
Now that they are gone what could be causeing the smell and what should i do? I sleep in this room.... but now i am worried, i hadn't noticed the smell before i pulled everything out of the room, as there was much blocking that area.

ok, here we go, it say's- The c2-3 level reveals disc desiccation with a minimal broad based disc buldge of approximately 1.5mm without significant central or neural foraminal narrowing.
the c3-4 level reveals no significant disk buldging or protrusion. the central canal & foramen seem widely patent.
the c4-5 level reveals a mild broad based disc buldge of approximately 2.0mm with mild centraland mild bilateral neural foraminal narrowing.
the c5-6 level reveals a mild central disc protrusion of approx. 2.0-3.0mm with mild central canal narrowing.the neural foramina appear widely patent.
the c6-7 reveals a broad based disk buldge of approx. 2.0mm causing mild bilateral neural foraminal narrowing.
the c7-t1 level is unremarkable.
****************** i have no clue what this all means. A little bit of an idea from research, but my dr. did not explain it well enough to me. And was in a hurry. I know im in pain 24/7, and my next step is injections to fill something thats making me numb

Another typical male question, but everyone has asked it at least once! Is seven inches actually considered big or is that just average? It's right on the line isn't it?

I've been awake for nearly 36 hours now and I'm really, really tired. Being stupid, I drank a pepsi before I watched a movie about 3 to 4 hours ago. I tried laying in bed for about 30 minutes and it always seemed like sleep was so near, I could almost feel myself succumbing to it. Unfortunately though, it never came...and here I am. I think what doesn't help is the simple fact that the whole time I was trying to go to sleep all I could think about was going to sleep.

Is that a problem or do you think I'm still being affected by the caffeine? Someone please help...I really need the rest.

jumped up out of bed and couldn't stand on that leg for minutes. I could literally feel (with my hand) the muscle moving up and down in my calf -- I thought I had something crawling inside calf that was how big lump was. Worse pain in life - how I can get it not happen again? Hours later muscle still sore! I am doing alot more walking than I was a month ago, could that be reason why it happen during sleep?

ok, I have had this problem for as long as I remember. Sometimes I will walk down a hallway or through a doorway or something and suddenly feel this overwhelming fear/terror that something is behind me. Sometimes it's so bad that I literally can't move. Is there something wrong with me? (And no, my house is not haunted)

I consider myself fortunate. I have friends that I enjoy spending time with, a great family that I can't complain about, and I am generally happy.

but there are times I feel lonely, feeling that somehow there are more out there, I don't even know how to describe it, but just a sense of loneliness and emptiness inside.

How can I stop feeling this way? because it's not like I am not content with life, I am, but I still feel this way...?
