ok, here we go, it say's- The c2-3 level reveals disc desiccation with a minimal broad based disc buldge of approximately 1.5mm without significant central or neural foraminal narrowing.
the c3-4 level reveals no significant disk buldging or protrusion. the central canal & foramen seem widely patent.
the c4-5 level reveals a mild broad based disc buldge of approximately 2.0mm with mild centraland mild bilateral neural foraminal narrowing.
the c5-6 level reveals a mild central disc protrusion of approx. 2.0-3.0mm with mild central canal narrowing.the neural foramina appear widely patent.
the c6-7 reveals a broad based disk buldge of approx. 2.0mm causing mild bilateral neural foraminal narrowing.
the c7-t1 level is unremarkable.
****************** i have no clue what this all means. A little bit of an idea from research, but my dr. did not explain it well enough to me. And was in a hurry. I know im in pain 24/7, and my next step is injections to fill something thats making me numb

I did ask my dr. And ive had bad expieriences with my last dr. from my first car accident in sept of '05. i got slammed into on the freeway going 80, ( not my fault!) and all the way til my recent one in april (again, not my fault) people need to learn to drive here in las vegas! back to the dr. that was supposed to be taking care of me, he kept saying there was nothing wrong with me. I went into his office every 3 wks, complaining of pain, and all he did was write more scripts. He even cancelled an m.r.i that i had another dr. refer me for, because he wouldnt, and told me the whole time that my ins. cancelled it. After 3 months of making appts. and then the imaging place calling to cancel the day before every one reason being that the girl @ my dr's diddnt fax the right info. Why they did that to me? no clue.i was so sad, what kind of dr. was he? And i diddnt find out til the second accident took place.have a lwyr. dont know if i can punish old dr.? so now i research every corner!!!

The the most significant parts of this MRI the disc protrusion and narrowing of the central canal and neuroforamena.

Firstly, our discs serve as cusions and facilitators of movement between our vertebrae. They are mostly cartilage on the outside and become most liquid as you move towards the middle (kind of like a jelly donut). As we move, the jelly in the disc displaces. Sometimes, it displaces enough that it can start to push the cartilagenous rings outward, making the disc bluge (think of squeezing one end of a balloon). In your case, the protrusion is starting to enter the central canal which contains the spinal cord. This usually results in pain in the neck and sometimes into the upper extremities.

You also have a couple discs which also are bulging enough to block the neuroforamena. The neuroforamen is an archway formed from the joining of two adjacent vertebrae. This archway is the site through which your nerve roots leave the spinal cord and exit toward the body. Therefore, narrowing of this archway can cause pressure on the nerve root or the structures around it. This can also cause pain, tingling, and numbess into the upper extremities.

This type of condition is known as cervical stenosis. Stenosis refers to narrowing...in this case it is narrowing of the central canal and neuroforamen.

Injections may be helpful, but since this is a mild case, you may also respond well to physical therapy, particularly of someone who is trained in the McKenzie method. Other treatments include traction, manipulation (as in a manual therapist or chiropractic care), etc.

It sounds as if you have Bulging and herniated disc's in ur Cervical (C-spine). That is an area that is very ahrd to fix without putting rods in your neck, which porbably won't happen. There is to much risk of have permanent damage to you spinal cord. Thatr sounds lame, but I know what ur feeling. I also have damaged disc but mine are furhter down in the Thoraic spine(upper back to middle back) and I have had the injections and they didn't do squat but only make her hurt worse, you have to see a spine injury specialist in your area and find alternative treatments

You basically have a condition known as DDD - degenerative disc disease. This can occur as a natural part of aging or be related to injury or repetitive trauma (ex. athletics). Your findings appear to be relatively mild at the moment.

When the vertebral discs dry up (dessicate) they can lose their natural form and bulge or slip into the central spinal canal space (where they may impinge on the main spinal cord) or into the neural foramina (where they may impinge on individual nerve fibers as they leave the spinal cord and travel to the arms, legs, and trunk). This can lead to progressive numbness, weakness, and loss of function.

The treatment is usually through physical rehab and antiinflammatory medication. If it becomes severe enough, then surgery is sometimes indicated to relieve the nerve compression.

Follow-up with your doc on a periodic basis so that he/she can monitor your progress and give you referrals to a physical therapist.

You really should ask your doctor, about syour MRI results. He is the professional capable of discussing your personal results.

Call his office and ask if you can stop by so he can explain it to you.

You don't want to trust strangers with something like this.

were u in an accident, what caused all these compressions...bulging disc means there's certain amount of pressure that was applied to it, thus pushing the disc outward and possibly flattening it....making the cervical spine rub together on some movement causing more pain....try and ask ur doctor for some more explanation....

didn't your doctor explain it to you? if he did and you didn't understand what he was talking about, talk to him again and ask him to explain in layman's terms. keep asking questions until you fully understand what the m.r.i. means.

ummm youre also telling lies "Everything is false and God is true" there is a philosophy like this and it basically means this world is not physically here but just in the mind of god. Its kinda like solipsism or nihlism but with god. Buddha didnt say god was false. Buddha said "im not telling"
