Hi,
I took some antibiotics for a week (penicillan)... two weeks ago. I am not using the pill to protect myself against getting pregnant.. just to regulate my periods.

Would this effect my bleeding pattern?? I'm not spotting or anything.. but i am due in like 9 days and i have been feeling like i am going to get them. You know the feeling you get when you're about to get periods.

Antibiotics make the pill not work "as well." Even though you are not taking it for birth control, the antibiotics can still have the effect of keeping the pill from working as well to regulate your period. You should be OK by your next cycle.

Every time that I've taken antibiotics on the pill my period came on time as usual. Because you were sick and on antibiotics your cycle can be thrown off a little but, it's nothing you need to worry about especially since you are not sexually active and worried about pregnancy. Remember, it's normal for the occasional period to be missed while taking contraceptive pills. If you miss two in a row see a doctor even if you are not worried about pregnancy.

Hi, the antibiotics will not have any effect on your period, however, should you have sex during the time of taking the antibiotics, you might want to use a condom, as my doctor indicated to me that the antibiotics cancels out the pill, and you need to finish at least one cycle of the pill for it to be effective. If for some reason you cannot wait to have sex, use a condom.

Some antibiotics make the pill less effective. Women are usually advised to use another form of birth control while taking them.

No it is not advisable to take panadol. My aunt had to remove her womb Because panadol had made the lining weak. She bled internally. It is ok to take some when it hurts, mensus cramps. But don't take more than 8 in 24hrs.
