My sister-in-law is pregnant. She has horrible heartburn. She has tried TUMS and all of the other medications that she can take while pregnant. Anyone have any home remedies that are safe to use during pregnacy?

I dont think it is a yeast infection of anything like that because it only hurts for about 5-10 min then it stops. also, it doesnt hurt any other time so i dont know. this is very recent so im not allergic to his sperm or anything.

is it b/c you can get frostbite and/or mess up your skin tissues and such?

what happens if you go longer?

I dont want to screw up my knee. I completely tore my ACL and I have to ice it to make the swelling go down, so I can have surgery soon. So how come ppl told me not to ice it for more than 20 min, and the internet said the same..so why?

Anyone had SUCH bad reflux that took many months but finally felt "cured" after a few months? I know that people have written that the drugs worked after a month or so. But it is taking longer for me. I am looking for hope...I want to know if it took anyone more than 3 months with the medications but they finally got better...

I need some tips on where to go to get help for domestic violence. I have been with a girl for 3 years now and for the first year of our relationship I had abused her physically. It hasn't happened in over two years now and I stopped because she gave me another chance and I made sure not to do it again. However recently her mom was involved in a relationship where her boy firend had abused her and it caused my girl friend to leave me because she says she can't take a chance of it happening again. I know that I am not going to do it but I want to go through a program or counseling. I want to be reassured myself and I want her to know that I am serious about it. I want to do this for myself first but I'm also going to do it for her. I wanted to go after she gave me another chance but never got around to it because things were so good with us and we were always busy. So any advice on where to go or what to do and anything I can do for myself and for her

we just got dental health insurance and on it it says it covers for amalgam and resin restorations: limited to one filling per 24 months per tooth surface. Multiple restorations on a single surface will be paid as a single filling. Does this mean that we can only get on ONE filling every 2 years...or does it mean we can get all our teeth filled..but only once every 2 years?? I'm really confused i don't think it makes any sense to have just ONE filling every 2 years...

Roast Vegetable Sald

6 medium sized potatoes
2 kumara
4 medium carrots
3-4 red onions
Optional:
10 yams if in season
1-2 parsnips
1 tsp each of ground cumin, paprika, turmeric, coarse salt and cracked pepper
1/2 cup olive oil

Scrub the potatoes and kumara and cut into 2cm cubes. Wash the carrots and parsnips and cut into slices of about 1cm thickness. Clean the yams and leave whole. Peel the onions and cut into quarters.

Place all vegetables in a large bowl and sprinkle with 1/2 cup olive oil, ground cumin, paprika, salt, cracked pepper and turmeric. Shake the bowl carefully until the vegetables are evenly coated with spices.

Place everything into a roasting dish. Bake in the preheated oven at 200' C for about 35-40 minutes or until crisp.

Serves 4-6.

My stepbrother used to fool around with me from the time I was 3 years old and he was 8 years old. There was no penetration involved, but sexual touching, exposing himself, stuff like that. This went on for about 5 years. Is this considered sexual abuse? I remember at first I didn't want to but he said stuff like "Do you think your mom would let me do anything to you that was wrong?" So I thought it was okay and went along with what he wanted to do. But I remember it felt wrong and dirty and I felt guilty about it.

I have had a scalp problem for many years. It stays very red, blood red, and has white flakes on it. I have horrible dandruff all over my head, but this is the worst is on the back of the head.
I have been to 3 dermotologists, and they all say seborrehic dermatitis, but I have tried nearly a thousand dollars worth of prescriptions, and my insurance pays nothing. That wouldn't be bad it the treatments worked, but nothing has ever helped!

Anyone had a similiar problem or any doctors know about this?
Please help me! I'm not looking for a miracle cure, just something to help the itch.

I had Copper T after 2 months from my delivery..and after 4-5 months i got problems like bleeding spotting after my regular periods. i didnt think it is harmful, but doctor said..copper T didnt suit to my health..is it right ? so i've gone throught treatment..now bleeding or spotting is covered..but after that i got white discharge problem.. is it dangerious to my health ? is it harmful for me ? should i remove copper T ? but i dont want to remove cause i dont like 2 have pills and other options. we dont want child for next 2 yrs..what should i do as i dont have any other problem due to copper T except white discharge and some backpain..pls help.thanx

I would like to know if this is a healthy sandwich.. If you could estimate, how many calories do you feel this sandwich has? Please don't base your answers off of other answers, use your honest knowledge:

3 Slices Cold Cut Turkey
1 Slice White American Cheese
Lettuce (average sandwich amount..)
Two Tomato Slices
Spinach Wrap (OR) Whole Grain Roll

I don't put mayo or dressing on my sandwiches. I don't put salt or pepper on them, either. I eat them plain and "straight up".

Well u guys, I have a problem, a love affair with candy is causing me to have several cavities, enough to have 2 root canals, I love Sour Patch Kids, and all soft, sour candy, not neccesarily bar candy, but anywho, I need you guys to help me on this one,I've always had nice teeth, but inside, the candy is taking over, I have terrible toothaches, I really want to stop this, I'm not addicted to the candy , but I still want to maintain the rest of my nice teeth, and have less cavity forming dental visits...Any ideas??
