I elected to have a tram flap breast reconstruction after mastectomy and chemo. Now, six years later I am still paying a very dear price for this decision. I have spoken with other t.f. patients and all are having the same health problems. If you elect to have this procedure you may expect to have the following:1.Hernia (during the surgery , your abdominal muscles will be removed and shoved aside to make a tunnel for the fatty tissue that they will force out thru the hole where your breast was. Without those muscles your internal organs will eventually protrude outward. God put this barrier there for this very reason.) 2. Pain (your back will take on the added strain of not having muscles) 3. Numbness(your whole stomach will feel like youv'e had a shot of novocaine for the rest of your life!!) 4. More surgeries to correct all of this . But nothing will ever help . The damage will already be done. Please consider implants or.......nothing!! I wish I had. Good luck to all of you

This is out of curiousity and boredom. How are blisters formed? I get them a lot when I go out for my morning walk.

Just curious if anyone here does this. It's a very large global community that uses the spare power of their computers to help find cures for cancer, alzheimers, parkinsons, etc. It is done through Stanford University. Personaly I think it's a worthwhile cause.

he showed small little fits of rage before we found out he had ADHD, over the last few days I have noticed him throwing huge screaming fits and drawing back to hit people including me. Do I need to take him back to his Dr, or call a pysciatrist? Or, is there another solution to my problem?

It seems that for the past few months, whenever I consume chocolate or certain candies, immediately afterwards my heart starts to race and I feel like I'm having a blood-sugar swing. It feels like my heart is beating really hard and I feel slightly lightheaded. The feeling lasts for an hour or longer. I AM NOT DIABETIC. Could I have some kind of allergy to the stuff? I have a similar reaction when I eat ice cream, but not nearly as much as the chocolate. Has anyone else had the same problem?

I am looking for a birth control method (other than a condom) that won't make me gain weight. I was very interested in Depo-Provera until I read that 70% of the patients tested experienced weight gain. I'm not obese or anything, I just don't want to gain any weight right now.

I know I'm overweight because of depression & my medicine. It's very difficult to lose weight, & I don't like annoying people by snoring. When I was younger & skinnier, I used to be a silent sleeper. What are the consequences of snoring?
