I got divorced and lost my health insurance. My Zoloft will now cost me $90 a month instead of $10! No way I can afford that and raise 2 kids. I already cut back from 100mg to 50mg two months ago, and my doctor asked me if I want to try going off it completely, now that my stress has GREATLY diminished (my ex-husband), but I was a little scared to do it yet. I am going to contact him, so don't everyone freak out and tell me I need to go to the doctor! I just want to hear some real life experiences.

I never had any problems going off Paxil a few years ago, and I've heard Zoloft has more mild withdrawal symptoms. I was thinking I might cut back to 25mg daily and then maybe every other day the last week...if that's ok with my doc. What do y'all think?

I have an aunt who is taking 18 different medications, not all from the same doctor. She said the doctors are aware of what the other is prescribing. Also she said the pharmacist checks also. I don't believe her. Is there a website to check on interactions of medications?

ok, so at my latest eye exam, my doctor suggested I get bifocals. The thing is I'm only 23 and really think they were just trying to get me to spend more money on my new glasses. So I asked the optometrist what the difference would be if I didnt get bi-focals and just got a pair of glasses for distance. She said it would work fine, but that it would take me time to get used to reading and being in front of a computer, since that would be close up. So I got just the single distance lenses today and I'm noticing that my peripheral vision is blurry, but that when I look at something straight on, it's perfectly clear. Does anyone know if this is normal and that my eyes will just adjust? Or should I go back to the optometrist cause I might have made a bad choice?

i fell the other night at work and they arent letting me come back until i go to the doc, my problem is is that the doc prescribed my hydrocodone and i ran out but was still hurting, so i got a few somas from a fried to ease the pain and now im afraid it will show up on the test and ill get fired, do u think it will show up as just a narcotic and i can show them my hydro bottle or what will happen, im scared

I have a friend working in Indonesia who encountered a girl with leukemia. This is third world life and there is no medical programs around to help her, not to mention her family would never be able to afford it. What sponsors or programs are out there that offer aid to either bring her the help she needs or transfer her to a country where she can get the help to live the life she doesn't deserve to have taken away? by romantic a mean mostly loving man-women relationship not so much casual sex(if there is such a thing). Being in the mental state I am in. I am bi-polar.
