available. I am a little uncomfortable to ask questions publicly. Mainly because of the nasty/ abusive answers few people give. But will be glad if someone is willing to help me in this regard. Thanks

well, you are probably lucky! there is a lot of sexual misinformation out there due to a lot of well-meaning idiots, and not a few deliberately evil misanthropes. a good rule of thumb where sex is concerned is: watch MTV...then do the exact opposite of whatever they seem to be doing. that should keep you fairly safe. keep in mind that sex sells; if television producers showed the actual results of most of the sexual practices they portray on their programming, their viewers would spend a lot of time throwing up.
sex is great - but is safe only in a very narrow context - that of a lifelong monogamous relationship to one person who has never had another sexual partner. people can argue with me all they want, but i guarantee they have no leg to stand on. the dangers are manifold. i am not using a religious argument here - just to head off any accusations from that arena. i don't need to even bring my religion into it. purely from a practical standpoint, i can win this one.
there is no "safe sex" outside of monogamy...there is only safer sex. and keep in mind you are betting your life on a percentage, rather than a certainty.
if you want a rundown of the dangers, see some of my other posts on yahoo answers. i've tried to be thorough. i will say that sex with my wife has been wonderful, but for us, sex is just gravy; it's the friendship we share that is the main course (and we've been together for 17 + years). sex is a rotten glue for holding a marriage together - it never ever works. only a deep knowlege of each other can do that...and that requires intense communication. real intimacy is all about communication. if you have that, then sex is even more intense and real and powerful. if i had to, i could go without sex with my wife for a year...but not talking to her would kill me. if you want sex to be great, learn instead how to have a great marriage. then the sex will be...gravy.
i'm not trying to moralize here, i just want other people to have it as good as i do! :) good luck!

Step one: Eat one or two Guatemalan Insanity Peppers. They will free your mind from negativity. Then they will cause insanity, blindness, and - ultimately - death.
