by romantic a mean mostly loving man-women relationship not so much casual sex(if there is such a thing). Being in the mental state I am in. I am bi-polar. I really think women for me are a path to destruction. I don't mean to be sexist. I'm only 26..but at this point I just want stability and most of all peace. Call me crazy but I feel if I can divert my urges it will be like a load off my back

I think that you can't live a full and happy life without loving someone special. But I don't think that you have to rush into it. If you look for it it won't happen. And if it is that much of a pain then I don't think that you have found the right person yet. You will know and it will feel right. NOw like a huge hassel.

I think it is entirely possible. However you should think about it. You are very young. the old saying goes God created someone for everyone. I am sure that there is someone special out there for you, but if there isn't that's OK too. Not everyone is supposed to be in a relationship. The "urges" will probably not lessen for a while but men do slow down eventually (my girlfriends and I all have husbands in their 40's). are you on medication? If so keep working with your doctor to keep it regulated If you aren't maybe you should consider it. To many men feel that they have to be strong or that because they are Men they can handle it. My friend's husband is bipolar and refuses help because he can handle it. He really can but only because she is loving and willing to wait it out with patience and understanding until he is feeling good again.God Bless you!

You need to take time out for yourself and get settled on your medication. Try some relaxation therapy and talk with others about your problems. If you can be in control of your disorder you will have the confidence to have relationships.

Best of luck and I hope you can feel better soon.

It is wise to already be happy prior to seeking a relationship. Happiness cannot be found in possession of others, rather it is something you must find within yourself.

If you are taking your medication, good. Keep up your visits with your doctor.
