having read this article about using Laser Treatment:

"Traditionally, gum disease was treated with a procedure called “scaling and root planing”. The procedure was about as unpleasant as it sounds. Performed by the dental hygienist, scaling and root planing involved using hand instruments to remove plaque and tartar. Unfortunately, since this technique didn't remove the biofilm that houses the bacteria, the effectiveness of scaling and root planning has always been somewhat lacking.

Since we are committed to clinical excellence, we treat periodontal disease with the most advanced technology available in modern dentistry, micro-ultrasonic instruments and lasers.

This combined use of technologies actually eliminates the infection rather than “manage the disease”, which has been the traditional form of treatment.

How does the laser work?
A diode laser is used in combination with a micro-ultrasonic hand instrument that...

girls, did you ever have to go to the bathroom really bad and your bladder was bursting? what was the most extreme thing you have ever done to hold it in? in your opinion, how what percent of grown women who have control of their bladders would grab their crotch so they can hold it in?

About over 2 weeks ago I did something crazy like put a hair removal product "down there" and it did remove everything and it was quite sexy. Maybe it's a dumb question but would doing something like that make your periods not arrive on the day it is supposed to? or would it make me sterile and this is why my period is not happening. I have done 2 pregnancy tests and they say negative one about 3 days before my period and one on the day I was supposed to have my period. I have no symptoms that I am going to have my period and I don't have $50. to see my Doctor to get a blood test. I have no insurance. Can someone share with me their exp with hair removal products? I am trying to figure out what's wrong with me.....

I'm 17 and was just wondering what it's like for a girl's first trip to the gynocologist's office. From what my doctor and mom told me they issue a pap smear and make sure everything's ok. I guess I'm kinda scared to have one done because I heard it was very uncomfortable and I'm kinda scared of the pain. I don't believe in sex b4 marriage, so I haven't had sex. Why is it still necessary to go through this? I just want 2 hear other girls/women's opinions. Thanks!

I know this sounds ridiculous, but I have a problem w/ eating lots of cookies (let alone other desserts). I need 2 lose weight, but every time I try, I always resort to my comfort food of fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies. I know u have 2 make a personal decision to lose weight, and every time I get motivated, the cravings kick in. Any advice? I exercise, but I need 2 do it everyday, not just when I feel like I need to. Thanks and please don't think I'm crazy- I just luv cookies and I always have since I was little. BTW- I'm 17 yrs. old, so diet pills r a no-no.

My friend recently had a stroke and has paralysis on one side of his body. His is now in rebabilitation facility. I am able to understand some of his words. Has anyone had this experience or had a loved one who has gone through this? With therapy, what are his chances of complete recovery? He is very special to me. Thanks
