It hurts when I press into the soft tissue under behind my jawbone, and I'm afraid that it's my lymph node being swollen. Should I see a doctor?

I've got a needle phobia. Tried cognitive therapy and found it to be a load of cr*p!! They wanted me to watch hospital dramas and look at pictures of needles in between talking about my parent's divorce?!?!

Tried a hypnosis CD but I didn't rate it. I fell asleep every time I listened to it and freaked out when I next had an injection.

I'd like to exercise to keep in shape, but since I've just found that my big toe is broken or fractured, I cannot do walking or running, hiking, etc.. I'd like to exercise by swimming laps, but I'd also like to make sure the toe and foot do not twist and strain in the water as I kick. It is not set and currently not wrapped. It is a recurrence of a fracture or break from 14 years ago that healed on its own with help from the wearing of a stiff wooden shoe (no dressings or wraps). I can see no bruising or deformation of the toe or foot. P.S. Please don't say "ask your doctor." I am uninsured and have tried in vain to be seen for this injury. Finding and seeing a doctor would cost more in aggravation than the broken toe itself. Thanks!

I don't have the iud with hormones. My pap test is normal and the doctor says the iud string is right where it's supposed to be. I had it for 2 years with out a problem. Now all of a sudden I have cramping and spotting between periods.
I've heard that the MAIN REASON one iud has hormones is to curb bleeding that otherwise happens with iuds. I have a clean bill of health. Is this abnormal spotting one of the side affects? Even after 2 years of everything being normal?
