Treat it with tea-tree oil and bath with glycerine soap. The oil will soothe the itching and glycerine soap doesn't dry your skin out like ordinary soap. Good luck, hope it works for you!!!

I'd treat any skin condition with essential oils. Specific for skin are lavendar, myrrh and chamomile, one or two drops of each diluted in cream or oil or water. Chamomile is a wonderful essential oil for itchy skin, though a bit pricey. It also depends on the kind of eczema you have, if it's dry then almond or sesame oil or jojoba would be good. You might also need to check whether you are reacting to chlorine or something in the tap water. Aloe vera (buy the pure juice or use the plant) or vitamin e oil are also very good at calming the skin.
Rescue remedy dropped straight on the skin can help for any skin problem. Mind/body therapists whould ask who or what is irritating you and can you do anything to change the situation if something is irritating you.
If you can afford it there are some good herbalists (look on the net) who would make up a cream for you and post it for about £7.
My standbys if I had to leave the house with only 2 products would be lavendar oil and rescue remedy as they have so many uses.
I think the posting about putting something between your toes might be thinking of athletes foot?

I suggest using the truly natural Shaklee Optiflora. This two-product system includes Probiotic (Bifidus & Acidophilus...microflora) + Probiotic (FOS...food source for microflora). Patented guaranteed delivery of 500 million microflora to intestines.

Most ususally something is going wrong inside our bodies that causes it to be eventually manifested to the outside in some form -one of these being eczema.

Also, Shaklee Alfalfa Complex: promotes cleansing of the blood; strengthens the elimination ability of kidneys; contain chlorophyll which aids in skin healing.

After spending thousands of dollars on all sorts of expensive creams, the best cure, not temporary relief--as most of the creams are--is Clorox. Eczema hides its germs under the skin. As soon as it gets moist, the critters spread and multiply. Get cotton swabs and soak the tips in Clorox and then apply either between the toes or directly on the spot for five minutes at a time. After one week voila. After one week of treatment, use an antibiotic powder. Very important, because the germs can hide in socks even after you wash them, wash your socks in hot water and Dettol or any other comparable anntiseptic. Most times people re-infect themselves very easily.
