Do the nutritional values of foods differ after the food exceeds its best before date?

to a degree yes. frsh foods loose vitamins once they are harvested. a lot of produced foods have extra vitamins added. these are ok, but still synthetic compounds that are not as good as the real thing.

suppose so as the natural sugars of fresh food disappears as soon as it is picked so the benifits of all the vitamins etc deteriorate as time goes on!

Most fruit and veg start degrading from the moment they were picked, so yes

yes but put in freezer till you eat is fine
