Yes. I am also lactose intolerant. I use Dairy Ease (or generic equivalent) and if I take 3 at a time before I eat dairy products, it helps a lot.

You can also try organic products. I thought I was lactose intolerant for a long time, before a friend sugguested that I try organic milk. For some reason other milk severely upsets my stomach, always has. Switched to organic with no further problems.

Yes! Lactaid changed my life. It's not a medicine, it's just the enzyme that your body doesn't produce. Take one or two pills with your meal and you have no trouble digesting milk. Lactaid is in supermarkets and pharmacies somewhere near the stomach remedies.
