i can't count the number of times over the past 10 years that i've said to myself, "ok, today is the day. i'm turning over a new leaf and eating right, excercising, and losing those excess pounds". i must have said it literally hundreds of times, on hundreds of days.
sometimes i can keep it up for a few days, or weeks, or occasionally months. but i always fail and go back to my old ways eventually.
after looking at a fashion magazine, or watching a weight-loss show, or after seeing a beautiful woman on the street i always break out the "promise".
i am so tired of failing. i know i need to just gather up my willpower and do it.
all of you out there who have made it and changed your life (for the healthier)...how did you do it? what inspired you? how did you make it last?
