Dry and/or greasy skin due to poor oil composition of the skin. Thick greasy oils clog pores, lack of oil leads to dryness and irritation. You need thin oils to moisturize while dissolving and clearing gunk in your poors. Try fish oil or seafood. 2 tsp fish oil a day or 4 servings of seafood a week. Stick it out for at least 2 months; it will take a long time to replace all your oil. Any effect after 1-2 days is temporary or random; so even if it makes you break out a little at first, you haven't given it a full try yet.
In the short term you can wash and moisturize well, but that will only go so far. Plus excessive washing can be drying and excessive moisturizing can be clogging. Use a small amount of a light moisturizer, made with oil not jelly or grease. Often that means soybean oil or mineral oil. Mineral oil means mined from the ground. So soybean oil is usually better, though mineral oil won't cause too much harm. Clean with soap and water, not a harsh acne cleanser. Even then they only work so well. So you really need the seafood.
Antibiotics aren't really good for bacteria long term, they'll come back in force after. Short term they may help. After you get off them find some kefir with acidophilus listed first or 2nd to replace the friendly bacteria they destroyed. Studies show less illness when you have these bacteria, even outside the stomach in places such as the lungs and elsewhere. You want friendly bacteria to fill the void when the antibiotics stop, not harmful ones.
In the short term you might also try 100,000+ iu retinol vitamin A (a megadose, and too much for normal use) or one of the acne drugs that is similar to retinol vitamin A. It's some minor harm to your organs, but it helps against bacteria on your skin. At least it doesn't have the other long term drawbacks to your skin that antibiotics and many scrubs do.
If you would like to learn how to treat your acne permanently and regain your health and wellbeing, without drugs, without typical acne treatments, and without any side effects, then this will be the most important letter you will ever read.

1 How old are you? How old were you when you started breaking out? I'm 18 now. I started breaking out when I was 16. Never really had much acne before then. 2 Is your skin always clear, do you get spots sometimes, or do you almost always have a breakout? I get pimples near my period. I usually get one of two somewhere around my mouth, and maybe the odd one around my forehead. They usually clear up once my period's done though. 3 What face wash do you use? Clean and Clear Morning Burst (the purifying one in the blue bottle). 4 Do you use face masks or scrubs or anything? What kind? I use St. Ives products for this. I use their clay firming mask at night (sometimes I skip it, but I try to do it quite a few nights a week). I also use their Apricot scrub once or twice a week. 5 What brand make up do you wear? What do you wear (foundation, concealor?, ect) Just drug store brands. I like Maybelline and Cover Girl products. I change the brand I use frequently because I'm looking for the best product for my skin (most of the best products I've used are Cover Girl). 6 How much makeup do you wear? Usually just concealer, foundation, and a bit of mascara. Sometimes some eyeshadow too. 7 What spot treatments do you use? Clean and Clear Persa-Gel 5. I put that on any pimples before I go to bed. 8 Do you eat junk food or healthy? I eat both healthy foods and junk food. Probably a bit too much junk food, but oh well. I also drink a lot of water. Water's a big help.

If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.
For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.
Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.
Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:

Yes you should see a dermatologist, but also oily foods and sweets are not the only things that could cause a break out!
Other foods that can cause that is acid foods, such as tomatos (including spaghetti sauce,or anything made with tomatoes) also Orange or cranberry juice...
the best thing to do is to steam your face so that the pores open up .. then you use a gentle cleanser on your face and then somthing to close up the pores after you have cleaned them, such as a "pore tightener" or even cold water will help a bit. Its also important to wash your face a couple times a day with a gentle cleanser. also you can put on a light layer of facial moisturizer.. this keeps your skin soft and also fills in your poures so dirt and oils stay out.

Blackheads are caused by pores and dirt. That TV advertised pro-acne really worked for a friend of ours until they stopped using it. I would go to the dermatologist he will give you the proper medication and can also give you meds to help fade the scars.

for treatment of acne and pimples, its better to consult a dermatologist. do not use your nails for getting rid of them, it will only result in scars.
use a good cleansing milk, steam well with a good vapouriser and remmove the white heads and black heads gently with a balck head remover. this can be done at home and it is really effective. steaming can be done once in 3 days or so.

my mum says to mix yogurt/milk/water with gram flour( its yellow can be found at any indian grocery shops) into a nice paste waterever consistancy you prefer .. and leave this on your face for 15 mins evvrinext day or until it dries ..this can be annoying and messy ..but itz natural your skin will glow and it removes and ligtens marks and scars ..but not them lines you get from squeezing..it gets your complection even and creamier looking..smooter more evn..try not to get it on your eyebrows or lashes to much because it clears roots so a few hairs may fall out onli a few..
good luckk --you will see a extreme diffrence after using this about 3 times (in a week) dont use it evrriday cos it can be drying when your skins not first used to it
itz natural gram flours just powdered yellow lentils
