ny 13 year old is complaining of his lower left side hurting and hes running a temp of 101 hs says he feel like throwing up! is there a stomach virus going around? help not sure which way to go with this

two of you are rude!!! im a good mother and i dont have to get attention from yahoo answers. i get plenty of attention, i dont have to get it here. i took him to the dr this morning and it is a virus. i dont appreciate people how are jjust plain ******* rude!!! i needed advice, and some of you gave me smart *** answers.

Could be a virus. Could be he's passing a kidney stone if theres alot of pain. Could be a hernia. There are several things this could be an indication of. Appendisitis is generally on the right side. Your best action would be to try to get the fever down with something over the counter like tylenol.
You know, better than any of us, the severity of your sons condition. If your gut tells you there is more wrong, then act on it. But, provided things do not worsen, then he would probably be ok for the night. First thing tomorrow you would want to get him in to see his doctor.

I'm not sure, is that the side where your kidneys are? Or maybe your appendix. there's better free sites than this. go to web MD, or something like that. If it is his kidneys give him lots of water and cranberry juice if you have it. try and clean out his system. good luck, God bless.

it can be ulcer pain too .. and ulcer pains are bad. you should go for a check-up quick.
