Who here has ever been in a medical study, or for some other reason had their movements or sleep patterns monitered by an Actiwatch? I am in a sleep study that requires that I wear one. How does it work? Does it just measure how much you move? If you are a sleeper who tosses and turns, could it register you as being awake? Is there a way to "fool" the actiwatch by sitting still? I'm not planning on cheating the study really, I'm just really interested in how this thing works. Any information would be great. Thanks!
