I have migraines too. Go to the drugstore and buy headon, it's great. Also another great remedy is to rub ben gay on your temples and the back of your neck, base of your skull, and behind your ears. It's helped me many times. Don't use the ben-gay though if you are pregnant. I hope this helps.

I hope you are seeing a neurologist for this. It took me 2 neurologists and 2 ENT Dr's. to get my migraines under control. Have you been allergy tested? If not run don't walk to your nearest ENT. Allergies cause sinus headaches, they turn very quickly into migraines. It also might be that you have a blockage or infection in one or more sinus cavities, and pressure can cause migraines. Have you had a cat scan or MRI done? Again see an ENT doctor. In my case, I kept questioning why my migraines would only go away when my ENT prescribed antibiotics. After an MRI and both the ENT and the neurologist looking at the test results and consulting with each other did I finally get rid of the headaches. I've gone from 3 headaches a week to only 3 so far this year. I do have to take gabapentin and have to stay on allergens (the drops are much easier and just as effective than the shots). I really had to advocate for myself to find the right doctor, but it was worth the time and effort. My migraines now are not as intense and can be handled with Advil migraine and ice packs--no more Imitrex!! Good luck

Try Imitrex that is the only medicine that will work for me. Whenever I feel one coming on I take an imitrex and lay in a dark quiet room for about 30 min and it usually goes away. Try to stay as hydrated as possible and not stay in the sun a lot I notice that I get them more in the heat.

I have them too! It's terrible because you look fine from the outside but your head feels like it's in a vice. What works for me is laying in a DARK QUIET room, I even use an eye mask and ear plugs if I have to. Make sure you are hydrated, dehydration can make it worse and stress, too. Excedin migraine usually does the trick for me after about an hour.

Have you ever tried going to a Sports Medicine Doctor, Physical Therapist, or a Chiropractor? I had suffered from daily headaches and found that find other alternatives or where the source as coming from really helped.
Good luck!

Have you tried Advil Migraine? It works wonders for me. After you take 2 with plenty of water, lay down some where quiet, and rest.

I would go in and try OMT with D.O. OMT is a manipulative adjustment done by a doctor.. But not an MD, becaus they do not have the training.. You go to a D.O. I have had them work on my migraines, and it works better than any other pain medication.

the best thing is Imitrex nose spray. You put it in one nostril and the pain just disappears like magic. No vomiting, nothing. Its prescription. There is also a shot from Imitrex, but that the last resort. There is is no cure, many in my family have them. Male and female.

Vitamin e will help and I've heard good things about the new neosporin scar sheets but if they are purple I don't think they will ever go away completely. Maybe you should see a plastic surgeon. Try the vitamin e but don't expect results over night.
