I wouldn't have one. I wouldn't advocate that someone else have one. I wouldn't perform one. Especially since I've had children of my own.
And I generally wouldn't legislate that they be illegal either.
I guess I think too many women in horrible situations were harmed and killed when abortions were illegal, by having back alley abortions by untrained people. And too many kids are unwanted by their parents and thus abused and neglected.
I wouldn't presume to judge a woman for having an abortion, either. You know---that thing about walking a mile in someone else's shoes. . .

This is the most difficult question I've tried to answer tonight. Unless the conception happened for stem cell research, (or like the guy above me just said) if it jepordizes your life and health or if you were raped I would say keep the baby. I believe its wrong when a feitus has been developing over a period and has a nervous system started where it can feel. If you knew the child will be retarded or disabled, (unless it was brain dead) I would still keep it. Remeber, even insects have a nervous system which means they have a sense of touch.

I agree with AmyP. I wouldn't have one myself or condemn someone for their choice to have one.
I won't get into the morality of the right and wrong either. Too many contradictions for me.
I am PRO CHOICE! I don't believe it is right to tell someone else, what they should or shouldn't do. I can ONLY speak for myself. I think too many people think women are still in the dark ages and can't make choices for themselves. Not everyone is religious or has a problem with it.
So it is not right or wrong the way I see it. It is a choice, and should remain that way.

Yes abortions are wrong. It's not the babies fault someone got pregnant and wasn't ready to be a parent so therefore the baby should not have to die for someone else's foolish mistake. Condoms and birth control was invented for those that did not want to have a baby. If someone is going to have sex they should be responsible enough to take the nessasary precautions

nope its not wrong. im not saying if you get pregnant go get an abortion but it is your choice. if i were rapped or something bad happend i would get one. i think a womans body is her own. yes i know there is a human being inside you but if it is unwanted then why have it? i hate people who say you will burn in hell if you have an abortion. thats just stupid.

that's depend.........it's always true that we should "think before we act" ...........oce u r pregnant then there's bcome a life inside there..........but please think of the otherside............with today tech we can always know the baby's conditions in very early stage n if there's a necessary to do so like..........some defects, baby jz din grow as day pass by.........advise by doc to do so then abortions will be the only and definately right action....

If the baby is alive and growing, I say it is murder! Except ...I believe God understands in the case of rape or incest. I also think any man who would harm a child deserves SEVERE punishment from our courts!!! If you are underage and pregnant, Please seek someone in authouity to talk to at once....God Bless you...
