Keep your bedroom cooler than the rest of your house.
Drink chamomile tea before bed.
Have a warm shower before you go to sleep.
Invest in blinds that really block out the light.
Get the TV out of your bedroom.

Habbits:
Go to sleep at the same time each night.
Have a light snack 1 hr. before bed.
Get excersize each day.
Pray to get your mind off problems.
Make sure the room is compeletely dark and silent
Make sure the room is cool.
Dont' take naps during the day.
Quit all caffeine.
Avoid foods that cause indigestion.

If all else fails,
Go to a neurologist, ask for a sleep study.

Go see a sleep specialist... A neurologist that has a specialty in sleep problems.

1) Take a very cool shower before going to sleep. or

2)go to a drug store and ask pharmacist about mildly strong over the counter drug for sleep

just have a short nap in the afternoon, dont sleep long..
try to read a book before retiring..

DONT DRINK CAFFINE AFTER 6PM AT NITE. CAFFINE CAN ACTUALLY MAKE SOME PEOPLE STAY AWAKE, AND SOME PEOPLE SLEEPY, IT DEPENDS ON THE INDIVIDUAL.. ACTUALLY COFFEE HAS A STIMULATE IN IT. USE YOUR OWN JUDGEMENT. TRY IT AND SEE IF IT WILL HELP. GOOD LUCK!
