She has worn glasses since she was in the 1st grade. When I tested them once, it about made me vomit because her lenses are so strong. She takes her glasses off and uses the highest power reading glasses available to offer to do things like read music notes etc. She loaned my dad a pair once and he couldn't see ****. She don't dare drive at nite. She has always had terrible vision, so I am sure she is used to it by now. Can any kind of surgery be done to help her?

My teen daughter has a pretty bad case of it. It keeps spreading. It started out on her arms, and days later it's on her stomach, legs, neck and back.

She is using calomime lotion and some anti-itch stuff. She's also taking Benedryl. Nothing seems to help.

I have been drinking a lot of water the past three years. The first two years, I drank around 64-80 oz a day due to exercise and pregnancy. I am now a 'pumping' mom and go through 90-110 oz of water a day (there's also a severe heat advisory where we live right now). My body has not wanted water the last few days, though I'm parched--normally it craves water. Should I maybe add some lemon or lime juice to 'spice' my water up a bit? Has anyone else gone through this? I do not feel that I'm over saturating my body though...but I could be wrong!

I got a mosquito bite yesterday, and it is now swolen to maybe a 2x2 inch area and the skin is very hard. It also stays depressed for a long time when I press my nail into it. It's a little painful and very itchy. How come some mosquito bites (and I know it's a mosquito because I saw it bite me) become so painful and large, and other ones are just small bumps that itch with no pain?

My girlfriend tells me that when I'm not home she gets really nervous, jumps at every little sound, is afraid to go into the basement, and can't get anything done. She says she feels like someone is behind her and she constantly looks behind and around her. She is also mildly uncomfortable in social situations. I have experienced some of these symptoms before but not to the extent they affected my life. What should we do? Should she talk to a therapist? I would prefer a easier method.

So I got home from work around 6, i'll do a few things on the computer (this being one of them), watch a little TV, eat dinner, then... its off to bed?

It always seems like I go to bed early (10ish), wake up around 7, and feel exhausted. Its like I never get enough sleep. It's really frustrating especially when I'm off at college, because I'll wake up after 10 hours of sleep and feel so tired and weak that i'll have to skip out of classes.

Any suggestions?
