No. I was on it a long time ago. I was told there was a water pill in it which helped keep you from gaining weight but I didn't lose weight. I wished it did or I would still be on it. When you first take it you have to go the bathroom a lot but then your body adjusts to it.

yes. I took it for about 2 years. It has a diuretic in it. That is what the nurse practitioner told me.
