I'm doing research on salmonella and I'd like to know what the actual odds of contracting salmonella from raw eggs are. I've eaten foods made from raw eggs all my life and never had a problem, so I'd like to know how much of this is pure hyperbole.

thanks,
Dan

Just wondering why there are so many men leaving pointless comments on the women's health section, i find it very perverted. Anyway, is it possible to have a phantom period if your period is late (4-5 days at the moment). Its a weird feeling, I feel like my period is on but theres no blood.

The foreskin is NOT a birth defect!
The foreskin contains the ridged band of sexual nerves.
Circumcision got started here in America as a misguided attempt to stop our young boys from masturbating. We also use to put carbolic acid on the clitoris of girls in order to stop them from masturbating.

80% of the men in the world are intact.
Before you do something to your son that can never be corrected, learn the truth. Circumcision is sexually harmful.

The current circumcision rate in the U.S. is
55% nationwide
33% in Florida
27% in California

Unfortunately in the midwest and north the circ rate is still very high. Eventually male circumcision will be outlawed just as female circumcision was made illegal in 1997.

Please email me for more information.

I always have a voice talking in my head...describing things (what I see, what I'm doing, etc.) explaining things (that I understand very well) in great detail as if explaining some new concept to another person(s)...I've assumed the voice to be my mind talking to itself but I've also always wondered if it was some kind of psychotic feature...What bothers me is that it seems to be like a second person within me speaking to the other...I do respond to what it says, sometimes even a deep coversation or arguement starts. Anybody know if that's abnormal or if it's just me being a dork talking to myself?

Ok....this might seem overly simplistic....but here goes.

I have read that there is a definite link in femal hormones and lupus. I have lupus. I, also, need to have a hysterectomy....but, have been putting it off.

My question is.....could having the hysterectomy possibly help with the lupus. Because of the reduction/change in the hormones?

Just a thought....

I have recently been experiencing what's known as "female ejaculation" where during orgasm a clear fluid literally squirts out of my urethra. I haven't always done this, but let me tell you, it feels great.
I've done quite a bit of research on the topic, but I still have one question that my research hasn't answered definitively. Is the liquid urine or something else entirely? It doesn't stain, has a mild (though musky) odor, and is clear rather than yellow. But still, something coming out of the urethra... that's a little suspect. If it is urine it wouldn't necessarily stop me from doing it. I just wonder about it.
So what do you think? Let the great urine vs. ejaculate debate begin!

Help me please... I'm trying to get off the medication Effexor and whenever I try I get the worst headaches, dizziness, and what feels like brain shocks. I landed in the hospital one time because I didn't have the money to renew my prescription. I was off the drug for 4 days. I know we aren't suppose to stop cold turkey but this, I couldn't help. I literally felt like I was losing my mind. They had me on IV meds and I got some shots. (plus a lecture on never stopping again Ugh) Now I'm freaked out about stopping. Anyone have any experience with this? Good or bad, I'd appreciate it!

When we go to the doctor and he or she orders an X-ray, a CAT scan, an ultrasound, or any other laboratory test, we typically go to the hospital to get these tests done. In some cases the doctor's office can provide these tests but in either case they are very expensive. It seems to me that a clever entrepreneur could buy the equipment needed (even second hand a a greatly reduced price) and provide "testing" services to patients for a more affordable price. Granted, the results would still have to go back to the original doctor or specialists to be evaluated, but I still wonder if this might not be a way to help people save money.
