Here in the States we have private insurance companies that most of us use to get coverage. The employer usually helps to cover the costs, and in some cases, if the person is unemployed or makes very little money, state provides so called Medicaid, which pays for coverage. I am wondering how the system works in Canada.

I am 32, attaractive and have to get false teeth, a full upper denture. I want to know what to expect from an "immediate" denture. I have already had all my back teeth pulled, and just have to have my denture made, and my 6 front teeth pulled and the denture put in. What's it like right after? Talking, eating and comfort? if any? And any "long term info" would help too....I'm looking for answers from denture wearers and people who have had an"immediate" denture. I am young and scared that I will talk and look funny or way different than I do now. I also wonder about what kissing and sex with my boyfriend, (who's being very supportive about this) will be like...Please help! Thanks. Pammy
