Squeezing the fleshy part of the hand between the thumb and index finger definitely works...but make sure you are drinking enough water. Many headaches are caused by even mild dehydration which most of us are not aware of. It is not enough to drink only when you are very thirsty. Eight glasses of water a day is a minimum if you are not out in very hot weather. Then you would need even more to balance fluids lost through sweating etc. I used to have headaches all the time. Since I began drinking enough, over 5 years ago, I very very rarely get a headache anymore. I drink 2 glasses before getting out of bed in the morning, and then two before each meal and I already have my 8 glasses. I drink in between as well. Always have a bottle on my desk at work and near my bed and computer at home.
Try it.
Good luck
Feel good

I take 2 or 3 advil or excedrin Migraines, put an ice pack (sometimes heating pad) on my forehead or under my neck (depending on where it hurts more). Then roll a small towel and put it under the back part of neck (giving support to the natural curve of the spine). I then pull up the blanket and stay in quiet for a while. Usually I fall asleep and wake up without the headache. Try to eat enough protein and eat often..that helps to prevent getting hunger headaches in the form of a migraine. Stay hydrated with water as well. Good luck....I have had my share.

I take a couple big gulps of ice cold water, it helps open your capilliaries, and sets the blood flowing again. Then put an ice cold rag on your eyes and relax for awhile.
It should go away unless it's due to allergies then you might have to take an antihistamine.

Actually, if you drink 8-10 oz of Gatorade, it will almost always instantly relieve a serious headache.

Most headaches are caused by stress (no sleep, work, finances, etc.). Therefore, your breathing habits change.
I drink a cola, breath deeply for about five minutes and it goes away very quickly.
