Walnuts are another good source of Omega-3s, and some other nuts are as well, even though they aren't as rich. Also, Quaker makes an oatmeal now that contains Omega-3s, and you can find a lot of foods that are supplemented with them, if you don't want to take pills. Just check some labels, and go from there - a lot of the stuff that says it's "Heart Healthy" has them in it. Hope this helps! :)

I went to a health conference not long ago and what I came away with is that omega 3's are probably the best thng you can do for yourself, so I'm glad to see this question.
Try soybeans, products made from soy. Also walnuts for snacking (fish like salmon and sardines, but I'm thinking if the supplements don't sit well, neither will these.) Also try cooking with vegetable or corn oil.
I take the supplements and find if I take them on an empty stomach I taste them all day - way yuck.
Try after a good meal.
good health!

Herbalife has a great Omega 3 product called Herbalifeline. It is the best there is, most stores sell fish oil supplements, but they are food grade, so they dont have to contain what they say they do, in fact it has been proven that some fish oils sold over the counter also contain vegetable oil. Herbalife's fish oil (Herbalifeline),is a pharmaceutical grade fish oil, it has exactly what the label says it does. Here is a site to check out: www.shopherbalife.com/tfward

i actually won't be able to think of of any reason (different than flavor selection, yet even then, this is questionable... fish oil burps are the main elementary "edge result" of that supplement) why you're able to take fish oil supplements extremely than consume the fish itself. in case you desire to get your omega fatty acids from fish, basically consume the fish. that's some distance greater easy to demonstrate screen the extensive-unfold than that's with supplements. Fish oil isn't regulated, yet fish is. Fish oil, via how, is produced from fish. that's a slaughter product. it is not vegetarian to any extent further than fish is. in case you won't consume fish, you need to no longer consume fish oil. think of of it via fact the physique fat of a fish (no longer a suitable metaphor, yet close adequate). in case you do no longer evaluate lard vegetarian, why could you communicate fish oil vegetarian? That being mentioned, I trust the countless different posters... why so demanding to "be vegetarian"? you're able to be effective and powerful without being a vegetarian.

Try enteric coated fish oil capsules. They don't leave a fishy aftertaste because of the coating. Walmart carries it.
