I've got a couple of sweaters that are just a bit too worn out to wear, but in beautiful colours - any suggestions? I was wondering if there were any toys I could make for my little girl perhaps?

I would like to make an umbrella as a part of my final year project but I can't find anything on the internet. Making of the frame is not necessary but I would like instructions on how to print on nylon, how to attach the fabric to the frame, etc. Thank you to anyone who can help.

Specifically, I am interested in this quarter and would need about 100 of them:

Is it possible to get them, say, from a bank? I'd prefer not to have to pay much (if any) more than what the actual coin value (25 cents) is worth.

Move in a different direction. Like moving the second to the left, and then the third to the right, ok??? How do I do that? I need something cheap, easy and inexpensive if there is such a thing. Also where is a good store to get paint and accessories for making model houses? I mean like not craft paint but colors for like houses exteriors and interiors, because I want it to look as real as possible.

What are the best woods to use? I ws thinking of using plywood for the flooring, but I was wondering if there was anything better. And when I am choosing for the walls, what are the best woods, adn what size and kind of nails should I use, because I don't want the wood to split because I used the wrong nail.

I am sorry if I sound like someone who has no idea what she is talking about, but that is probably because I don't!!

Where are some good places to go metal detecting in Utah? I'm looking for specific locations not generic answers or websites. I'm looking for personal experience. I'm gonna be in the area for a while and would like to go if I can find some good places. Also what are some good things you've found metal detecting in Utah?

I have a simplicity pattern that has a bodice, but I was wondering if anyone knew of a pattern just off the top of their head that I could look at (just to make another one to wear day-to-day as opposed to ren faire), hopefully something beginner-friendly that looks good.
Thank you!

Every summer when I go to camp or to a friend's sleep-over, I bring one of my brother's old twin bed sets, and I'm sick of them! Usually the camp beds are small twin bunks, and I want to make my own in a style for me. How easy is it to make complete twin sets yourself? I mean, a comforter, a sheet, an 'undersheet" (the sheet that you put around the matress, not sure what it's called) and a pillow case. How could I do that?
(ps. suggestions as to the pattern of the fabric? I like to go either completely grade-school boy-ish or college girl. Eg. Either transformers or batman, or swirly pink, blue and brown flowers or bright pastel colors. No Nick Junior or any of its kin.
Thank ye kindly!)

I want to make one of those traditional folding fans. I don't mean the kind where you just fold up a piece of paper and staple it in place, but one of those real ones.
Does anyone have a link to a place with a guide, or something? I really want to learn how to make these myself!
