I have been scrapbooking for two years and I am a very creative person, however I am unable to sell my work through lack of contacts with important people :(
I was wondering if anyone had any tips on the best way to sell artwork and things like scrapbooks?

if you do the actual scrapbook pages for people, doing the layouts and choosing photos, the best way is to get two or three customers, usually you start with family, friends, neighbors, and ask them to pimp you to everyone they know. make small scrapbooks as gifts for all your aunts, especially the ones who have friends with lots of grandchildren. even if your aunt is only showing off pictures of her poodles, if you did the book and it is unique and interesting, others will notice. word of mouth is crucial for home industry.

I would try selling them on ebay. I'm a seller on ebay and do quite well. You also might try setting up a booth at an Arts & Crafts Festival or your local Flea Mart/Swap Meet. I would also look for opportunites for free or cheap advertising, maybe a school newspaper. You might approach some small stores/boutiques such as a Hallmark Store and ask if they would take some of your scrapbooks on consignment.

Scrapbooking is a hard sell because the appeal is in doing it oneself. It's a fun hobby, so generally people who are interested in it will enjoy doing their own. If you want to sell, you'll have to come up with a technique or trim that nobody else has.

Have you tried selling on ebay or etsy?
As far as local selling, word of mouth and craft shows.
Maybe see if you can put out fliers at dr. offices, preschools etc.
