Specifically, I am interested in this quarter and would need about 100 of them:

Is it possible to get them, say, from a bank? I'd prefer not to have to pay much (if any) more than what the actual coin value (25 cents) is worth.

~OR~
Alternately, I am interested in a coin, token, metal slug, etc. that I can customize with text of my choosing and a simple graphic.

Thanks!

They are no longer being minted so the mint cannot help you. They were struck in 2004. As of now they are selling for $15.95 a roll of 40 plus postage. They can be ordered from Paul Sims Ink. 1-800-368-3039 his company is in Richmond Virginia. All the other dealers seem to have the same price but you can try a local dealer then you won't have to pay postage. As for token type blanks, I think you may find they are not cheap and you may have to buy a lot. Most available are made of copper or brass. Going through my coin magazines I find no ads for blanks, A lot of people have wooden nickels made up and you can by blanks from them. Go to www.wooden-nickel.com, they may also know where to get metal blanks. Hope this at least points you in the right direction.

Have you tried contacting the US Mint thru their website?
http://www.usmint.gov

Or look online (eBay, Google search) for coins and coin collectors.

Good luck!
