I have the original seats and they are disgusting. I don't know if I should try to have them cleaned and recovered or just recreate them from scratch.

My 11 year old sister is getting a collectors dolls house for her birthday and she doesn't know. She has seen them before and commented that for the people 'She wanted nice ones, not wooden ones, with modern clothes, not looking so old fashioned.' I have looked on google and all of the things I have found have really ugly people in old, frilly dresses. I have looked on ebay - same thing. Anybody have any suggestions where I can get modern 'grown up peoples' dolls house people? Thanks for the help - I really appreciate it. I will probably need a mum, a dad, 2 children and a dog if that helps in anyway, but this is flexible.

Oh, and I live in the UK, but may be willing to get them from elsewhere, depending on the postage and how nice they are!

I recently became a member of a charitable orginazation that, monthly, sends out many postal letters. I want to jazz them up, with stamp art in a classy, formal, and have them still be readable!

Any suggestions, books, websites, welcome!

I have a large batch of what I believe to be mainly clam shells, but I am unsure of how to clean, protect and bring out all of their color. I have read that I should soak them in a bleach/water solution for a day or so, then rub them in mineral oil. Is that correct? Also, I have some silicon spray that I think could be useful for sealing them. What would be the best method to follow for this? Also, what would be the best way of gluing broken pieces back to gether? Would Crazy Glue be alright, or should I look for somethign else? The pieces I am working with consist largely of the beautiful purple from inside the shell, so should any special precautions be taken with them?

One last thing, what would be the best way to drill a hole thropugh them? Would a plain power drill be alright, or would some thing more specialized be needed?

I know thats a lot of questions, but thanks for any help you can give me.

I want to make those fancy boffer weapons, the ones that show up when you do an internet search on latex foam weapons. Even if you don't know what boffer or LARPing is, tell me how to make a durable, soft rubber coating on foam, latex or other wise. I have seen "Plasti dip" that may work as a replacement, but I have never see that product any were but online, and I am unsure of were to buy it. Same thing with latex and or any finishing chemicals.
Thank you.

Color of coin is gray, red, white with very little yellow. Casino is written on it in gray capital letters. Right bellow it is a little picture of a red asterich. Bellow that is indivisual pictures of card symbols. In small circles there is a spade, the next circle is a heart, the following is a club and then a diamond and the pattern repeats itself one more time. There is a black diamond shaped balloon like picture trimmed with yellow dots. On the inside of diamond shapped balloon "Las Vegas" is capitalized in red bold letters. Right beneath that the word "Nevada" is also capitalized but in a smaller print, color gray. Outside of the diamond Las Vegas Nevada is also capitalized. Please help me find the worth of this coin. And how can I send it to retrieve the money if it's worth anything at all.
Thank you

When I was in Elementary School they had a contest every year, where you decorate a paper turkey with glitter, feathers, rhinestones and other craft stuff. So I was thinking of doing the same type of thing at my daughter's (4th) birthday party. It's only going to be her and one other little girl. So far the only thing I can think of is a butterfly. I am the LEAST creative person I know, so I need some more ideas. Also, if someone knows where I can find a GOOD basic butterfly outline, that would be great!!! Along with any other outlines you think would be good.

I tried to google all kinds of different things and I'm not finding anything really good. Also, I do not have any clip art programs, photoshop, paint shop, paint shop pro or ANYTHING even close to those.
