Where do I go? Hardware wtore? Craft store? Manufacturer? (if so, who?)

Thanks!

I am looking to buy small, eye-size oval-shaped plastic pieces. They need to be bowl-like in that they are hollow. The plastic needs to be thin but durable - sort of like the top half of the plastic containers that 25 cent toys come in from the machines, except smaller and oval-shaped. Can anyone help me?

This man used to construct little birdhouses out of pieces of wood so he has a little art talent in him.any type of suggestion would be great. He just sits and watches tv, no mental or physical exercise. Also, he cannot stand for very long and loses his balance when he walks so he needs a sitting hobby or exercise. Thanks.

ok so I know most people just go to the store and get however much they need of the flat thingie, but I'm interested in making the fabric itself, specifically for making my own(must be durable) clothes, so it has to be, like, a lot stronger than some lil kiddie project. How do I MAKE the fabric I can make clothing out of?

Can you give me some ideas about my toy project?
I have to design a children's toy. I have to choose an age group, such as infant, 2-5 years, 6-8 years, 8-12 years, 13-14 years etc.
I have to be sure the toy is safe. It has to be a toy that nobody invented yet. The has to be safe as well. I have to make a toy that is enjoyable and also the child has to gain knowledge out of that. For example: My teacher showed me others toys that designed other people. One people drew a bus and on the bus, he put the alphabets. His illistration was-- if you press the buttons with a, b, c, it will say a and it will like it will shine, like you will be able to see light .

Now can you give me an idea, what could I design and how?.
Please help. I know some of my writing you will not undersatnd thats because I am new and I am learning english.
Please help me!!

I would like something that you can place in a campfire to make the flames change colors. I have seen it been done with a copper tube and a garden hose, but I would like to see some other colors. If anyone has tried anything else that has worked please respond and give great detail on how to prepair it.

ok so I'm looking into doing some quilting. I don't have a sewing machine(I'd actually prefer hand sewing anyway)or a whole ton of money but I don't really want to make a peice of crap either. I have some idea of how to begin, but in very very idiot's terms, how do I make a quilt? I know you get backing, batting, & top, but, like...what's the best materials to use, what batting do you use so it doesn't turn into a scratchy lump after a few years, how do you make a really pretty top without just the simplest of checkerboard squares stitched together, how do you make really really strong stitching so it doesn't fall apart, and finally how do you get the little squares(or whatever pattern it may be) to look like the little puffy pockets(instead of just sewing the quilt up at the edges) without messing the whole thing up? If you can help it would be greatly appreciated, and remember...I'm not an idiot but I do pretty much need idiot terms. Thanks so much. (=

My mom bought an embroidery machine and we are having trouble figuring out something.

She has a Futura Singer Design software disk, but she thought she could make her own designs, and these are premanufactured designs.

I tried and tried, and I have no idea how to import new ones, so if anyone is familiar with this program, let me know!

And if you know of any other softwares out there that you can install on Windows and design your own, let me know!

[ use a MAC, but most of these programs don't take MAC and Windows is pretty weird for me......]

Thanks in advance!!!!

I asked a similar question, but it was kind of a two-parter... the part that people didn't really delve into was this; if I have tiles that have already been glazed, can I paint them with ceramic paint and re-glaze them successfully so they're a different color?

...and will they be just as nice/professional looking as if I had only glazed them once?
