I am a seamstress and trying to re-create these gowns. I am having loads of trouble finding photos of these on the web. So if you can help me find Photos of Celine Dion's, Mariah Carey, and Jackie Kennedy Wedding gowns, that would be sooo wonderful! ;) Thanks! :)

I'm thinking of starting my own home business soon using my own cross stitch designs, which I can produce quicker than I can cross stitch them. Does anybody have any tips I could use to start it? Or do any of you do this kind of work from home or know someone who has that might be able to give me some good tips?? And what about having/using a website to sell my work on? Any tips on starting it too since I don't have a website yet but I would like to use one for this. And what about copyrighting my designs for both the website and the booklets that I would be selling my designs in?? Can anybody provide info on that or where I can learn more on it? I'm half deaf so phone use will be a major problem (which is where the website helps) and I can not work full time due to a TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) I suffered when I was a child, which caused my deafness and hearing loss. Any tips and info would be helpful and muchly appreciated on these. Thanks.

No spam please just honest answers.

I have a lot of little sentimental items (ticket stubs, pictures, stickers, etc.), and I would like to do something with them. I don't have enough material to make a scrapbook (nor would I wish to undertake such an endeavor), and I would rather do something artistic and useful with the material. I have already considered decoupaging a box or journal with what I have, but I was wondering if anyone else had other ideas. Any suggestions or thoughts would be welcome. Thanks very much.

I have made scarves before but this is the first time that I have tried something else. I am stuck, I do not understand what this means "Bind off 3 sts at each armhole edge once, then 3 sts once. Bind off remaining 4 sts"

Does this mean that I bind off three, then knit 3 together, then bind off three more? Help please, and thanks in advanced!

I bought a dress I loved on sale. It's quite baggy on me and needs to be taken in. I'm fairly new to sewing and am wondering whether I should take it in on the back (there's a zipper) or should I take a little in on each side. Here's a similar dress in this picture. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. http://www.forever21.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=FOREVER21&category%5Fname=Dresses&product%5Fid=2035235457&Page=5

Ok. I went to a yard sale, and bought this old sewing machine. It works in perfect condition, its just, I need to find out its model and I can't find it. I found a receipt from the original owner, and it was bought in 1976 and its a Kenmore. Does anyone know what model I might have?

Okay, I've attatched a picture of the page I'm working on. It's for my teacher's end of the year gift, which I am giving to her next Wednesday. I was going have each of our (my class) pictures on it, but it needs to be a really creative way. I have ten people, so ten pictures. They are about 1 3/16'' by 7/8." And, I need to know what else to do on the page. Please, but I don't usually do scrapbooks, want this to be extra special!

Thanks in advance!

So I am the laziest person I know...I hate cleaning and am always "about to get around to it" and never do. Well, I cleaned my car, apartment, and every stitch of laundry this weekend (including my sheets, pillowcases and comforter) and now I have nothing to do. I am looking for really relaxing things to do when I get home to occupy my time. I don't have a TV and I want to stay home to save gas. Get me some answers because I would like to use the ideas tonight! Thanks!

In the near future I want to start making wood crafts and sell them at craft shows just as a side job. It's something I've always been interested in and I want to get an idea on how much it would cost me to get it started by making a list of power tools & machinery I would need. I already have an idea of what I might need but maybe more experienced people can name something I haven't thought of.
