Nope, it's your book, you can put whatever you want into it, that's what makes it yours.

Another name of scrapbook is "memory book". The purpose is to remember people and events of your past. You don't necessarily need to put "stuff" in it. A good scrapbook page might just have a couple of pictures - maybe of a birthday, a vacation, or just a fun activity at home. To make it really memorable, add "journalling" - a brief statement from you as to the significance of the event. This can be done on the computer, or, to make it more nostalgic, write it in your own handwriting. Happy scrapping!

Its up to your taste and what you want to show off to family friends etc it also sometimes depends on your mood. Scrapbooking can be as easy as completing a page just by sticking a few photos and a journal of who's in the photo or description. If you feel a bit crafty stick some colour and stickers on.

Enjoy =)

I don't put my pictures with my memoirs. The memoirs can cause damage to the pix if they're not introduced the right way into the scrapbook. I buy background paper that has alot of stuff on it then buy matching solid cardstock and make my own frames. i also add a box of the cardstock on the page so that I can journal. That is more important to me than including memoirs. It's cheaper to get 2 books and put the memoirs on a black background and get the paper and cardstock for your pictures.

No not at all...memorable items are optional but not necessary. Scrapbooking is more about what you like and find to be memorable. If you want to include memorabilia a good way to do so is to incorporate pockets on your pages...these can easily be made by adhering folded cardstock to your page. HTH (hope that helps)

Not at all! You can make a book on anything. Favorite hobbies, fashion, poetry, quotes, calendar, music log, recipe book, journal, just about anything!

You're the author of the book, you decide the theme and decorate it the way you want. It definitely doesn't have to be just memories. These types of books make great coffee table books.

Happy Crafting!

You can make your scrapbook about anything you want it to be. I have one for each of my kids and I started one for myself. It's a much more organized place to keep random papers and momentos.

No. Many times there won't be any memorable things to put in.
You may enjoy doing creative things to display the pictures, with borders, edges, text. etc.
