I am making a welcome sign for my summer school classroom and the theme is butterflies. I want to put a net on the door. I have cut-outs of butterflies to put on the door with the children's names. I want to make it look the net is catching the butterflies.

They are not torn nor have they been heat distorted, just squashed. They are pillar candle molds so it is important that they are perfectly shaped. Please any sensible and TRIED AND TESTED suggestions pleases.
Thanks,

Gah....I'm going to seem like such a n00b for asking this, but...

Anyway, I'm going to cosplay for Suigintou at some point and I need to know how to make the headband. Or the best ways to go about it. (sweatdrop) And how to get away with not having to tie it underneath my neck.

(bows)

Thanks!~

I recently got a brand new Zippo. I filled it up today and lo and behold, it won't light. It'll spark a lot but the wick won't light. I have no idea why (I'm not too good with this type of thing) so anyone got anything that can shed some light on the situation?

when back in the early 90's they were worth thousands of dollars. I've still got over 20,000 cards. Lots of complete sets, rookie cards from players in the 1980's, vintage cards. They're not worth squat anymore. What gives?

I'm looking to dye something that is light blue polyester to more of a rich purple color. I tried your basic rit dyes, but of course it didn't work (worth a try though :) I know that it requires really high temperatures and assistance from other noxious chemicals to get polyester to take color; but is there an easier way? A spray paint? A full color transfer? If I have to resort to high temperatures/chemical mixes what is the safest way? Will it be safe to wear afterwards? Thanks!

I bought 40 yards of organza fabric to use for my wedding. It's currently all nice and secure on the bolt. However, the fabric is too wide so I need to cut it in half. I have this great idea of just starting at the beginning and walking through it with scissors. However, I can't think of a neat way to get it back neatly on the bolt. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.
