Suigintou/Gothic Lolita Headband?

Gah....I'm going to seem like such a n00b for asking this, but...

Anyway, I'm going to cosplay for Suigintou at some point and I need to know how to make the headband. Or the best ways to go about it. (sweatdrop) And how to get away with not having to tie it underneath my neck.

I don't understand what youw words in parentheses are trying to say, but why not just get a length of cotton and add the trims with fabric glue? A fabric store would have all the parts. Or if you know a good sew-er, they could figure out how to make it by looking at it. You can tie it behind your head, under the hair.


Just to be a mom, be careful of any association with a "Lolita" character. "Lolita" is a teenager who is desired by oldre men. It's icky.

My sis wanted to me Suigintou for the last Halloween, so my mom bought a plastic headband, the thick kind, and she wrapped it with a fabric (using tacky glue) and then decorated it. Pretty awesome. Looked like the real thing for a fraction of the headgears you can buy online. You want to get a headband that can grip your hair, so that it doesn't fall off. Good luck and have fun!
