I saw this quilt in one of those quilting magazines. it wasn't featured with a pattern, but a picture was shown. It had a single star pattern, and it started with light turquoise in the middle fading to dark purple then black. it was absolutely gorgeous...looking like it would glow under a blacklight. does anybody know which quilt i may be talking about?

cheers!

I have a good sized train layout that I need to move and lean up against a wall b/c I need to make space. When I put the grass (powder kind) I was too young to think about glueing it down. I tried craft spray glue, but the pressure just pushes the grass around. If I move the can back it isnt effective either. Is there any other trick I could use to get my loose grass to stick? or a different way to use spray glue maybe?

I was watching some Martha Stewart today and she was going on about scrapbooking. She said something like "They didn't want to come down and eat food because they wanted to scrapbook and sew!" Then there was some lady on the phone that said, "I've been scrapbooking for about 2 years! I'm ADDICTED!!!" I changed the chanel because I couldn't watch that crap anymore.

I bought wool sweaters at a thrift store to shrink and use the material to make pusres. I want to shrink them so that the stitches are super tight and won't ravel at all when I cut up the fabric. What would be the best way to do this?

I'm really interested in getting my hands on a fitted vintage swimsuit pattern designed for non-stretch fabrics. The oldest patterns I can find are from the 60s/50s and are still for stretch fabrics. Any ideas on where I could find a non-stretch swimsuit pattern? It would also be fine if it wasn't a vintage one, just non-stretch.

My 12 year old would like a Drew Brees jersey for his birthday. I'm trying to find a new one online, but no luck. Maybe someone who lives in the New Orleans area knows of a specialty store that will take my info over the phone and ship it to me. We live in Mass., so I can't go to a local store.

My mother use to do dancing mothballs every Christmas. Part of the recipe is vinegar, mothballs and food coloring, but I can't remember what she sprinkled that made them "dance" up and down in the jar?
