I have done some initial research on the internet. It appears that there are many coins which can be purchased for fairly reasonable prices (under $100).

I have no idea who is reputable and who is not. And I have read several articles about the Bulgarian companies that produce fakes that flood the market. Are there methods to personally verify that you have purchased a legitimate artifact instead of a fake, other than the sellers guarantee?

Are there so many fakes that it's a roll of the dice? How can a person verify that he is getting the real deal?

I am mostly interested in Greek coins 350 BC - 150 BC and First Century Roman coins and I am sure these are often faked.

Any help would be appreciated.

I am a photographer and artist, and am beginning the process to interpret some of my work into cross stitch designs to sell. I would appreciate the answers to a couple questions, if you would!

What complexity do you prefer? (i.e. easy, relaxing, moderate, complex, very complex)

What size do you most like stitching? (stitch count or inch/cm of finished design)

Do you prefer buying just the design, or full kits?
Do you prefer buying a single design or a collection?

Preferred subjects?
Average number of colours in a design?

What in a design would most draw you to it?
... or cause you not to want to do it?

Thank you in advance for input! Greatly appreciate it!

I once saw on TV a young chef do beautiful carvings in watermelons and other fruit and vegetables. He had a website at which he offered an instructional CD. Anyone know his name or the website ? Thanks !

I have to glue 24 thumbnail photographs of my daughter's classmates to a somewhat heavy paper stock. It's a little thicker than copy paper. After the photos are attached, the paper will be put in a frame.
Is there a glue/adhesive that's perfect to do this? My concern is using something that will eat through the photos or ruin them in some other way.

Does anyone know if you can still purchase a gold flaky liquid dip that came in a jar like the jewelry cleaners do now. It would put a coating of gold overlay on your cheap jewelry when it would turn brassy and the gold overlay would come off. You could put the cheap piece of jewelry in the liquid and later it would be gold again. Also, if you know where you could get it in silver. Boy, this would be a great invention for some one out there that is as smart as old Gates, Trump, Turner, Opra W. and the wal-mart kids, can't think of their names, Waltons or Walters, you know, on and on. Think and make it rich. Couldn't be too hard, if they can put this machinery together, thats in all factories in this world, to make everything we need, someone could do this surely !!!! I know what you're thinking, "well, why don't you do it"?
Don't have the sharp mind to do it. I lived by an inventor he had patants and 2 w/Ford Co. on auto parts.Wish he was still alive, he could do it.

Where do I go?
What should I expect when I order one?
Does it take time when I order one? or do they come out instantly when I go to a shop?
What kind of store sells those things?
btw, approx how much does it cost? Are they expensive?

What I'm really looking for is a flat and full covered GOLDEN colored plastic (hard) that is light and is able to cut through easily with a pair of sissors and can glue (with glue-gun or permanent glue) to a hair clip. Not large in area, but the size of your hand should be enough...

HELP
thanks.
