I presume that you are referring to decimal £2 and £5 coins of Great Britain, and not from any of the British overseas territories. The copper-nickel version of £5 coins issued for circulation from year 1990 are valued at £7-£8 unused, while the £2 coins for circulation are valued at £3 to £5 unused. I'm not certain what you meant by "queen mothers head on old £2". Most probably the elderly effigy of the Queen by Ian Rank-Broadley, which looks a bit like Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother.

I don't live in the UK but aren't some of the 2 and 5 pound coins commemorative. If so, they should have some collector value. Go to Yahoo auctions UK and check it out.
