I have to glue 24 thumbnail photographs of my daughter's classmates to a somewhat heavy paper stock. It's a little thicker than copy paper. After the photos are attached, the paper will be put in a frame.
Is there a glue/adhesive that's perfect to do this? My concern is using something that will eat through the photos or ruin them in some other way.

I would use Scotch Permanent double sided tape, bought at Wal*Mart.

You can get archival glue at any craft store that will work just fine. You should also make sure the paper you mount it on is also archival. Some papers are too acidic to mount pictures on them. They could cause damage later on. Check your local craft store, like Michael's, for these products.

Photo mounting squares, available at any craft store in the scrapbooking section. They're great - double sided adhesive and acid free. I use them all the time for our scrapbooks.

You can also get clear photo corners in the same department.

My favorite stuff is Kokuyo scrapbook adhesive. I get it at Michael's although Walmart might have it. It's a tape runner and it holds really well and is archival quality. Have fun!

Rubber cement works well, too.
