I am teaching 6th grade students and am thinking of building some sort of drum with them. We meet once a week for 6 weeks. Any ideas on cheap materials and easy designs?

I am collecting lots of water bottles for a craft project for the kids that I work with. Well, I have been removing the labels off the bottles, and that sticky stuff on them is impossible to remove. I am afraid it's going to attract bugs, plus some of them are so sticky, the bottles actually stick to your hand, and it's really a nuisance.

Anyone have any tips to removing this?

I was just going through a recent lot of coins I bought off ebay and there is a blue 1943 steel cent, it's not toned blue, it's blue. Anyone ever seen this, or know about this, is it fake? Or is this a rare find or something? Thanks.

I am trying to make a special birthday gift for a friend who loves vintage jewelry. I have purchase some beautiful shank buttons and planned on grouping several of them together (similar to what a broach would look like) and using them as my focal point of my two (maybe three) strand necklace. I can't seem to figure out how to prevent them from flopping around. I tried small beads along with crimp beads in between and strung them on .018 beading wire, pulled them tight into a circle. They still move too much and I just don't think they will hang right. How can I reinforce them? Is there a better method that anyone can suggest?
Thanks in advance for your help!!

All of the above is to clarify what I need. Thank You for your help.

I am looking for links or websites with knitting patterns for sweaters with raglan sleeves. I like to knit seperate pieces, first the back, then the front, and then the sleeves to be sewn together.

My father recently purchased a set of buffalo nickles (a.k.a. indian head nickles) for me. However, I am unfamilar with them. Does anyone know where the Mint mark is located on the nickle?
I have around 20 or so of them and I am trying to organize them by all information I can get, but I can't find the Mint mark.
