I have a rather large stack of old, used, CD's. Does anybody have any creative suggestions of cool-looking things to do or make with them? Possibly for a bedroom? Thanks.

I don't want a kit to do it myself - I want them already done, different papers, different colors and designs on the papers. Anybody know where to find these?

I have found that all the ends make for an UNPLEASENT experience when Intarsia knitting, and being that I am somewhat weakened at this time, I am looking to make things a bit easier. I was wondering, since I know you can "tack-down"/"catch" the stitches when there are more than 5 consecutively in Fair Isle, then couldn't you also do this when doing designs when using the Stranding technique??? Even possibly with more than 2 colors???

I am looking to find out just how to combine different stitch techniques to make one that works for me. I learned Intarsia and a little Fair Isle, but I noticed how similar they all are and I want to know how to mix and match and/or combine them to make knitting easier, whether it be independent motifs or designs, or more intricate detailed stuff, or smaller stuff too. I want to knit skulls and crossbones, and I need these "stitch mixing recipes" to help make this easier. I am not trying be lazy, I am unwell. Websites preffered, thank you much.

I know it can be used for Intarsia, but it does have more than 2 slots for yarn, so I was wondering if there is some sort of Stranding technique using more than 2 colors that I could do with it. PLEASE HELP?!?!

I'm trying to make a little seed-bead cell phone charm in the way that you usually use pony beads. I tied a knot to finish it, tested the knot, and cut it. As soon as I cut it, it came loose! There's only about 1/2" of cord left on each side. I spent way too much time on it to just start over. What should I do?

By the way, it's very slippery elastic cord. I'm sure that makes a difference.

How much is a 1976 Five Hundred Balboa Gold Coin of the Republic of Panama worth? It contains 41.7 grams of 900/1000 fine gold. Is it worth anything beyond the value of its gold?

How much is a 1986 United Kingdom Gold Proof Set worth? The case for the set is actually in it's original seal with a visible certificate saying that it was sealed at the Royal Mint. How about a 1987 set?

On a few websites, I have found them but they are not the daity, delicate looking ones that I am after. The only ones that I like, sometimes are found in a kit, and they are way too expensive. But anyway, the wings that I want, also have a scalloped edge on the bottom part of the wing. Cant find em!! Anyone know??
