I have about 20 little pins on my purse and they all seem to fall off once and a while. They're the kind that you get from bands and such, the ones that are about 1 inch arround and has a pin on the back side. Does anyone have any idea how i can keep them from falling off?! ~ Thanks! ~

I'm taking up bead jewelery making but there are so many types & brands of wires, I'm not sure what to start with and don't have the money to buy many different kinds. I'm looking for something strong, but flexible.

I'm talking about the newer postage stamps that you use for everyday mailing.

What are some things to look for that would prove if a stamp is real or not?

I know how to make the simple bracelets but how do you make the ones that have a clasp and hook so that you can open and close it? I just got some beads and I want to make those because they are easy to wear. Do you have to buy the hooks? Is there a way to just make them? Do you have to tie a special knot in the beginning?

A complete set of instructions and/or a diagram of the procedures would be greatly appreciated. :)

I am a novice Cross Stitcher and have purchased a Thomas Kinkade printed kit. I've already put samples of the corresponding floss by the stitch symbol chart and taped the edges of my canvas to prevent fraying. I'm ready to start the project, but I'm noticing that the chart and the actual print on the canvas are not matching up in the count. For instance, there are more squares on the chart from a point to the edge than there are from the corresponding point on the print to the edge of the printed canvas. I"m also noticing that the chart and printed canvas aren't really matching up from point to point either. I seem to remember my mom saying something about finding the center of the canvas and starting from there. So can someone who is practiced and knowledgable about this craft please tell me how one follows an embellished cross stitich pattern correctly?

The bag should be sturdy and able to support 3-4 medium weighted books. I did see one but the inside was some sort of heavy plastic and the outside was crocheted.

I have always had a fascination for photography but my husband tells me that women should not have hobbies and he has discouraged me from buying a camera. My neice bought me a camera for Christmas, and I'd like to use it and and begin taking photographs. How can I do this secretly without him finding out?

I drew designs and pictures on my white Vans slip-ons with a Sharpie permanent marker. I'm concerned that they might smudge or get blurry/won't be able to see the original design if they get wet. Is there something you can do to these shoes/apply to the material to make sure that the designs and drawings are permanent?
