Some of the paper mounts that enclose them are printed with the initials "VF", "F", "VG" and "IET", what does this mean. How do I determine their grade? How do I determine their value? Who would appraise them? Any answers would be helpful. Thanks.

Does anyone know where I can find scrapbook facts ( when it started, and how many people make one, ect.) or do you know any facts yourselves? It's for a class project. Thanks

Anyone know of a good sealant of some sort that you use with crafts? Something to create a nice smooth clear layer of protection over a decal I'm placing on plastic.

I've heard of enviro-tex but anyone have other ideas from the craft store?

I am looking for an exclusive dolls house for my eldest Daughter (21). Within reason - Money no object, but no more than £10,000.

I am making a magazine rack and I'm using directions I got from www.am-wood.com. Now I've already cut the wood as I've been told how to, the next step is assembling the darn thing. This is how my directions read;

"On the inside (3/4") edge, make a rout that is 1/4" deep and 1/2" wide that runs from 1/2" from the top of the leg to 2 1/2" from the top. This rout should be 1/8" in from wach side. This slot will accomodate the top support that runs along the length of the rack" That's exactly how they read word for word and me and my teacher are at a loss. If you could interpret these archaic directions and tell me in deatil how to rout that, I'm sure that I caould take it from there. As always, all help will be appreciated.

I have pattern for a dolls outfit using a daisy trim as decoration, but the instructions are unclear, there is a hole in the centre of the daisy and two strands either side of the flower, which is where I think I knit into but the flower is very loose at the bottom, how about starting off, do I have to double the flower over and the same when I have finished with the trim?
