I'm having a problem. I need to package my necklaces so that they don't SHIFT inside the box. I'm using a layer of foam inside the jewelry box when shipping my necklace. Some of the necklaces have pendants and the pendants never stay PUT inside the box! The layer of foam is NOT enough to hold the necklace in place. It shifts around way too easily. It doesn't look good when you open the necklace box and it doesn't sound good inside the box. Is there a name for some kind of necklace padding that I can use to hold the necklace and pendant in place? Where can I find something like that? Does anyone know of any websites where I can buy it? Anyone know of any places in NYC where I can buy proper jewelry boxes with proper padding? (Right now, I pay 4.75 per dozen necklaces boxes w/ layer of cotton foam inside. The box is made of cardboard with a cute pattern on the outside). Thanks!

I want to make a ball out of a bouncy material, baseball sized. I don't want to just buy one; I want to make it. I want the ball to have a solid core and with a good amount of mass, like the Pinky bouncy balls. Can you describe the material and method of making my own ball? I have limited tools to use (no casts/molds, no engine lathes, etc). Thanks a bunch!

My son is making PVC marshmallow shooters for his friends for Christmas and wants to paint them, and we didn't know if spray paint would be a good choice knowing they have to put their mouths on them to blow the marshallows out? Does anyone have any ideas of what to use that will be a safe choice, and also stick well to the PVC permanently without coming off on the hands and mouth? Do you think food coloring like dye would be a good choice? Considering easter eggs are colored and haven't hurt anyone?...lol Please help we are running out of time!!! Thanks for your help.

What substance can I use to stiffen thread?
...I need to get regular sewing thread to be stiff enough to hold the shape I give it and support just a little weight (no more than a couple needle's worth of weight, at most). However, I need the thread to look as if nothing is on it or supporting it. Is there a kind of glue that might work?

What substance would be best to accomplish this?

I am a complete idiot & have managed to put my nephews favourite dr who batlles in time cards through the wash and they are destroyed beyond repair(including the ultra rare tardis card!)Thankfully he has duplicates of most of them but not all of them(the tardis being one of the ones he hasnt got) If anybody on this site knows of a place or person who would be interested in swaping or selling the cards I require could you let me know.
You will possibly save my life and stop me being flogged to death by his Grandma who purchased said cards.

The card numbers I require are as follows:30,56,74,111,181.

If anyone can help me you will be making a 9 yr old little boy very happy and a 32 yr old stupid bloke (who never checks pockets on trousers)safe from death.

I thank all in advance fer any advice you can give

If you dont believe me I.M me and I will send a photo of the wrecked cards
check my 360 page fer a photo of the cards or check my avatar pic
