i need an estimation of how many people collect staff in the world (coins, stamps, etc..) i need to know the size of the market of collectors.

When it comes to coin collectors the figure world wide has to be in the millions. As for stamps I don't know, but it has to be very high. Kind of a strange question, for just look around, most people collect something. Check out how many coin dealers are near you as well as antique dealers, don't forget the flea markets. Even out in the boonies there are lots of flea markets, as well as dealer of coin and things in near by towns. I know we have around 500 registered voters in my town and I find plenty of coins,medals and tokens to keep me very busy. I my wife says my colling coins keeps me home and out of the bars. I am 63 so my bar hopping days ended along time ago-Just don't tell her.
