I've just aqcuired an 1885 Morgan Silver dollar, how can I tell if I have the valuable Carson City one?

The mint mark is on the reverse (eagle side) just below the wreath near the bottom of the coin. There will be CC there for Carson City. good luck.

The CC is on the reverse just below the tail feathers.

It has a a "CC" (for Carson City) stamped on it.
