Depends on the PLASTIC...

For styrene, the best is plastic cement (Testor's Model Cement).

For ABS, I'd use 2-part Epoxy or Gorilla Glue

Do not even feel about it! Any and all glues usually are not made to support the load of a human. They would keep quickly but now not for long. And that is assured! Go to the hardware store and take the historical screws with you. Inform the salesperson you want helping anchors one measurement higher then what you have got now. Tell them they go into wooden and that they'll be holding allot of weight. They will repair you up. Or they better if they are a good sales character. Forget in regards to the glue or anyone would get harm. Byee
