I know that sounds like a goofy philosophy question, but i'm serious. Is it the muscle of the animal or something else? I'm sad to say it's something my friends and i have been pondering since our year 11 trip (2 years ago lol)

A supermarket's city centre branch, in Bothwell Street Glasgow, has the cheek to charge a minimum of £1 more on wine than its counterpart out in the retail park in Partick in Glasgow, and please if you are going to mention rates don't bother, same with passing trade. Does anyone else feel that supermarkets"hypnotise" you into shopping under the one roof, rather than really offer the same value from branch to branch; and why oh why do we fall for it? Bring back the local trader.

What food do you miss the most, I moved from the UK to the US and miss Donner Kebab's, Scotch Eggs, Chicken and mushroom pies, proper fish and chips with curry sauce, Vindaloo Curry, Vimto, Chocolate Digestive biscuits.... and im sure many many more... what do you guys miss?

There is some slimy stuff on my ham which I have bought from the supermart after I have kept it for a couple of days in the refrigerator. Is it alright to eat the ham or has it turned bad? I am surprise if it has turned bad because it is just 2 days in the fridge.

I am a single male, 25 years old, who lives with 2 other roommates.

The problem is that last month my food bill was $500, and this month already at that amount.

How much should someone my age spend per month on food? Combined meals at home are not an option, as my roommates will always eat out.

Any suggestions on how much I should spend, AND how I can prepare meals which are less? I do not even know what the amount should be.... $200? $300? More? Less?

Any ideas would be helpful!!
