I lived in Europe for about 3 years, and the things I miss being here in the US, are the cheeses that are made from raw milk instead of pasturized. The wider selection of European wines, and the German pastries. They were so good, not so sweet as the stuff here, more about the pastry than the icing. Really good with a cup of coffee or tea. Oh, and KINDER EGGS. Those things were so much fun. The thing from the UK I miss is Violet Crumbles. YUM.

I moved from an area that had the BEST Chicken Schwarma and Indian food to a place with awesome Italian food. I so miss the inexpensive lunches and yummy food.

A lot of times when my husband asks where I'd like to go to dinner, I say, "About 20 years ago."
There used to be a restaurant called Sourdough Rebo's that no longer exists. I miss their beer batter prawns, clam chowder and fresh bread.

Aw, I'd like to try those. I'll write them down so I'll know what to try if and when I visit the UK.
